I created the POWER Eating Plate back in 2013 when I wrote my book “No Caffeine Required – what to eat to energise your working day, naturally”.  It is just as relevant today as it was then as the need to balance the diet with ALL the macronutrients - protein, fat and carbs without excluding anything from the diet - is still the route to a healthy you!  

My POWER Eating Plan is based on an acronym representing the five essential components of every meal:

And that’s it, just five powerful letters that can keep you energised, focused and productive throughout your busy day.


The POWER plate

The POWER plate shows you the ‘balance of POWER’ you need to achieve in order to derive maximum energy from your meals. Whilst there is no 'one size fits all' with nutrition, this is a great starting point for anyone to experiment and find out what works best for you.
